The Christmas lily or bush lily is a broad-leaved, evergreen perennial plant native to the subtropics and scrublands of Africa. It is a member of the Amaryllidaceae family and contains compounds that can be toxic to pets and humans if ingested. The plant has large, funnel-shaped flowers that combine yellow and orange colors.
